Continuing with some more Mexi Vacation photos!!!! We discovered there was a cenote, not more than a 5 minute cab ride from where we stay, called Chaak-Tun (Rain-Rock). Actually ended up walking there, pretty much 3/4 of the way because there is always much to see on foot. This place was amazing! Barely anyone there, we had the oppourtunity to explore it with just 1 really nice couple and a guide. Despite the larger...and pretty noisy tour group that went in shortly before us.... it was so peaceful. I could have spent the entire day there and look forward to going back again for a future visit.
One of the many projects on the go. I'm teamed up once again with the amazing Iglesia Productions team and getting ready for the return of Evil Dead!!!! I was at the rehearsal space the other day, working on a awesome promotion concept. You may have seen the snow tags around London that were a result of that idea. If you do?... post the pic of you and the promo, along with the twitter tag...because you can win a free ticket to the show in April!!!
So, back to the rehearsal space. Formerly a fitness club/spa that shut down when faced with major difficulties. It's now inhabited by a digital design company, but the facility is so big, there's a large percentage of the building that doesn't see much, if any use at all. Remaining virtually untouched from its previous operations. There's plenty of exercise equipment stacked up and pushed into vacant corners, even towels still left hanging on deserted locker doors. Although its a tad bit creepy if you were there alone, its an interesting spot for sure.
Evil Dead starts on April 1st. Tickets are available now and going fast! Especially the infamous "Splatter Zone" seats. Actually, while I was there at the rehearsal space. Jake Grimbo stopped by, he's the guy in the photo with all the tickets. He's an organizer for a big fan expo here in town called "Shock Stock". Which is awesome! because one of the Actors from the original Evil Dead, Richard DeManincor will be here for that event and attending the last performance with one of the those tickets.
As mentioned before, here is a small video I shot and put together from the Dubfire+Richie Hawtin party at a taco restaurant in Playa called "El Fogon". So much fun!!! Sorry for the shaky filming, its hard to keep the camera steady while dancing.
